New Client Swim Test
What to expect: This is the first appointment and is required for all dogs in order to use our facility. This appointment will vary in length, depending on what your dog will be coming for and if you are bringing 2 dogs. It will be a review of your dog’s health history, history with water, and assessment of swimming skills.
Your dog will be getting in the pool during the initial evaluation, but pet parents are not allowed in the pool. We have a bench just outside of the pool where parents can sit and watch their dog swim! And don’t worry, our professional staff member is always in the pool with your dog! They will be guiding the session, monitoring your dog’s response to exercise, giving them time to rest, and ensuring maximum benefit from the session.
During the evaluation, the frequency of which your dog is recommended to come will be determined by our therapist. In addition, orientation to the rules/regulations and procedures will be done to ensure everyone’s safe use in and around the pool area. We strongly recommend that you have your dog evaluated by your veterinarian prior to starting a swim program.
Paperwork Requirements: New Client Info, Policies & Procedures, Agreement/Waiver (INSERT LINK HERE). Referral from your dog’s vet (if applicable). Vaccination History (Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper)
After the initial evaluation, the appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes. This 30 minutes includes getting your dog into the pool, swimming, getting your dog out of the pool, and drying them off/giving them time to rest.

- Up to 60 minutes: $80
- Up to 90 minutes: $110
- 2 hours (for 2 dogs): $140
Assisted Swim Session (30 Minutes)
All swimmers must complete New Client Swim before booking these sessions and we strongly recommend that you have your dog evaluated by your veterinarian prior to starting a swim program.
Assisted swims are for dogs that are coming to be treated for a health issue that requires physical therapy.
Our qualified swim staff will work in the water with your dog to assist him or her with swimming, staying in the pool and feeling comfortable and confident in the water. Our professional staff member is always in the pool with your dog guiding the session, monitoring your dog’s response to exercise and ensuring maximum benefit from the session. Each session is customized to the individual needs of each dog and will consist of a blend of resisted swimming, free swimming, and therapeutic rest while in the pool.
Sessions are approximately 30 minutes depending on your dog’s endurance and capabilities in the pool. This 30 minutes includes getting your dog into the pool, swimming, getting your dog out of the pool, and drying them off/giving them time to rest.

Unassisted Swim Session (30 Minutes)
All swimmers must complete New Client Swim before booking these sessions and we strongly recommend that you have your dog evaluated by your veterinarian prior to starting a swim program.
Unassisted swims can be used for: learning to swim, retrieving, fitness, burning off energy, or just to have fun! The dogs are not being treated with physical therapy in this category.
Our qualified swim staff will work in the water with your dog to assist him or her with swimming, staying in the pool and feeling comfortable and confident in the water. Our professional staff member is always in the pool with your dog guiding the session, monitoring your dog’s response to exercise and ensuring maximum benefit from the session. Two Dogs Swim (50 Minutes)
All swimmers must complete New Client Swim before booking these sessions.
These sessions are for 2 dogs that come at the same time. They will each be booked for a 30 minute time slot, for a total of a 1 hour appointment (this includes getting into the pool, drying off, and resting).

Our professional staff member is always in the pool with your dog guiding the session, monitoring your dog’s response to exercise and ensuring maximum benefit from the session.
